The Great Catch-Up of Winter. Part V: Disneyland

The little family went to Mickey's house and met the big cheese himself.
It's really a testament to the young child's ability to forgive and to trust that he kept allowing his parents to take him on attractions that are way too scary. However, the parents nailed it with rides like Dumbo and Its a Small World.

The bumper cars were probably the highlight of the day, even though he almost didn't get on--they had to measure him both before he got in line and before he got a car just to make sure he was tall enough to allow on, phew!

Easter Weekend

Here are a few snippets of Theo's Easter Weekend Extravaganza

He and his mother dyed some eggs. The actual dyeing of the egg was not as exciting as choosing the colors for each glass of vinegar water and adding the dye--green was the favorite color of the day.
The boy had a blast at the local Easter egg hunt. He somehow stayed ahead of the swarm of 0-2 year olds multiplied by their camera wielding family members. Thus, the boy acquired quite the loot.

For the second year in a row, the child conceded to watching the duckling day parade but preferred not participate (except for a brief stint with only the duckling feet portion of his costume).

The Great Catch-Up of Winter. Part IV: Aunts and Uncles

The little boy got some good face time in with his aunts and uncles.

Uncle Mark said that Theo was the best little-kid client he'd ever had.

Aunt Sara took the boy to one of her favorite bird-watching spots

Aunt Kaitlin accompanied her little nephew on lots of outings around town

Uncle Philip played with the boy quite often, even setting up a model train for him to play with
